Nail art challenge - Day 4 - pink

This wasn't originally what I had planned for today's mani. I picked a pink from Pixi from my collection. I bought it a couple of months ago and hadn't used it yet, but was unsure of whether it looked more pink or purple and asked Asif, who said it was red (?!) so I opted for this trio from Models Own instead. Today's challenge was pink, and was I happy! Pink is my favourite colour and probably what half my nail polish collection is.

I opted for Pink Blush as a base colour. It looks so bright, almost neon in the bottle, but I really like the colour on my nails. I decided to do all nails except the accent with two coats of Boogie Nights. I love this glitter, but it can be difficult to get some decent pieces out so I went for a two goes.

I finished the look with two coats of Southern Lights on the accent nail. I wasn't sure of how it would look, but I probably like this combination the best out of the nails I have done so far.
